4th of July

We didn't really have any plans for the 4th of July this year, so that morning we were trying to decide what we could do...our Hot Air Balloon adventure was a bust because after getting everyone up and out the door that early in the morning, we got there and they had ended up going up earlier than planned!!!!  That was annoying! Then we went out to breakfast at Cracker Barrel and that was the extent of our plans.  So Rich got on the internet and looked up prices for tickets to the Stadium of Fire and on the spur of the moment, we decided to go :o)  We are avid watchers of American Idol and Micailey really like Scotty McCreery  and I grew up listening to the Beach Boys with my dad, so it was sure to be fun!  The kids were all excited!  We don't do it every year, so the anticipation was in the air!  We had so much fun and we had about 6 rows of people ( 3 in front of us and 3 in back of us) watching and counting us.  Luckily my kids are really good in public and we had no issues what so ever!  We had a few kind gentle men who offered us treats for the kids for being so good, and another one struck up conversation with us about our uniquely large family and offered to take our picture for us so we could all be in it at the same time :o).  A few other young girls were making conversation about the kids and saying how cute they were and well behaved :o) So, it was a really good night!

I absolutely love this picture of Dallas and Rylan... they look so cute to me :o)

The pic that the guy took :o)  minus Cohen who moved out of view apparently :o)
 Scotty McCreery

The treats that the nice man bought for us for behaving so well :o)

Oh ya, and another man gave us a ton of glow sticks because they had to many and he thought the kids would enjoy them :o)  What nice people we were surrounded by!

She is so funny!  Ever since she was little, she has had to plug her ears for anything loud! :o)

I'm not a firework photographer, but here are a few of the fireworks from the stadium.
