Decorating eggs!

These pictures always turn out interesting because I make them wear their old clothes just in case they get dye on them, so they always look like homeless children. But we love them anyway!!! We didn't get very creative this year with decorating the eggs either, but they didn't care and had a lot of fun!

Breaking News!!!

As some of you know, we have been thinking about the possibility of adoption since last July. We really feel like we need to do this. We have struggled back and forth and through much thought and prayer we still feel good about it. From October till February we couldn't get good communication and the cost and details kept changing and it seemed like it wasn't going to end up going through, so we kind of moved on. But in February we got an email from a friend that gave us hope again. And once again after much thought and prayer we've decided to give it another go!! We are hopefully going in May or June to see if we can finally get our boys here. We just have a few details to work out first.
The other Breaking News is that after a few months of thinking it wasn't going to go through we decided to get pregnant. So we did!! Surprise!! I am about 16 weeks along right now and just told family so now I will post it here for all friends too. We are very excited and yes still excited for adoption too! I know that the next few years we will be very busy and our hands will be very full, but we are just fine with that and actually excited! This ultrasound was taken at 9 weeks so it is really little. We are due in early September and can hopefully find out gender in a couple weeks.

Yes, That's my Baby up there!!!

She looks so little on such a big ride! It looks like she's gonna fall right out! And yes, Mommy is praying on the ground that she doesn't! But Micailey is so proud that she is finally tall enough to ride the "upside down" rides this time! We counted, and between all the rides she did, she went upside down 36 times at Knott's! This one is called the Boomerang.

This is Richie's favorite ride! The Excellerator! (spelling?)

It launches you out of the gate, from 0 to who knows what in mere seconds and then straight up into a hair pin drop and then through the rest of the rollercoaster. After watching his dad do this once or twice, Dallas turned to me and said "How can he do that!?*!?" It sure is fun though!

And here we are at Knott's Berry Farm

This was the kids favorite new ride. The Sidewinder. Your cars rotate while your are on a rollercoaster ride. And the cars have a video camera that records you on the whole ride instead of just a picture, so they liked making funny comments and stuff while they rode it and then watch themselves after.

Welcome to LegoLand

Yes, we were just at DisneyWorld in October, and the kids went back to DisneyLand in November, and here we are at LegoLand in February! Don't ask me- ask their Dad

The kids had so much fun building Lego cars and racing them. We were probably in there for atleast an hour, if not more, and then had to go back the second day and do it again!

Mackenzie had a birthday!

Happy birthday Mackenzie!

She had so much fun at Micailey's party that she wanted to have her princess party at the same place, so we took some of her friends in their princess costumes and had their hair, make-up, and nails done! They had so much fun!

Brinley Broke Her Arm!!!

This is Brinley right after we got home from the Dr. She had a buckle fracture in her right arm, right by her wrist. She fell off the barstool in the kitchen while she was eating lunch.
We knew something was wrong right away because she kept holding her wrist and crying.
We hurried and called a neighbor to babysit and took her to the after hours clinic hopeing that it was just sprained, but we weren't so lucky!

She had to wear this cast from her shoulder to her fingers for a week and then we had to get the other one on. What a pain in the butt!

This is her new "gink (pink) cast"! She is so proud of it. Her favorite color is pink and she was certain that it had to be pink. This one only goes up to her elbow which is nice but it is very hard and snags and scratches stuff. We tried telling her for a few days before it came off that -"yeh! they were going to take it off" and about how they were going to "buzz" it off -to get her ready for the noise- and she would almost cry because she didn't want her "gink cast" off! But Mommy does and couldn't wait!!! February 2nd, 08 - February 27th, 08
