30 days left!

I had Brinley take this picture on the 10th, cause according to my dates, that is 30 days till I'm due. She did pretty good with what she had to work with :0) but I never like photo's of myself... especially trying to hide a watermelon under my shirt!

Then I had Rich take these today to keep the actual weeks right. So today, I am officially (according to me) 36 weeks. My doctor has me a little farther along, so basically if I give in and get impatient, I can have the baby any day I choose after October 1st. So, we're getting close! Thank Heavens! I feel like I'm going to POP! I'm getting anxious to meet this little guy and see what he's like!

Comparing the 2 photo's, I think I will be sporting black from now on! The belly doesn't seem quite SO BIG in that one :0)

My little Macie is 2!!!

Seriously! Where has the time gone!!! I can't believe that she can be 2 yet... maybe one, but definitely not 2! She is such a cutie! In the last 2 months or so, she has turned into a little girl who talks, plays pretend, and sings songs. It is so fun to watch her grow and develop so fast! Her and Cohen are attached at the hip. They have their own language between the 2 of them and sit and jabber back and forth. She insists she is not a baby... She is a big girl! These are a few of her pic's from her birthday...

waiting to eat her breakfast

Brinley and Jordan started preschool on her birthday, so we were taking pictures of them too and she HAD to have some too :0)

Still sucking on her fingers and playing with hair! We need to curb that one of these days!

She loves balloons, so we filled the house with balloons and streamers and made a balloon birthday cake!

By her cake and presents :0)

She knows she's 2!

We were a little scrunched for time on her birthday and REALLY does a 2 year old want to go to a fancy restaurant and sit still.... NO... so we decided to have dinner at the park and let them play. They had fun!

When we got home, we had her birthday cake and sang.... Her and Cohen have been talking about and singing Happy Birthday to Macie for weeks now! Now they really got to!

She had to try a few times to blow out her candles and in the end... I think Cohen technically ended up blowing them out for her. But she didn't care.

Eating her yummy cake and ice cream

Then comes the fun part!

Macie with all of her "loot". She loves it all! She was so cute about the CD player... and to explain why a 2 yr old got one... it's to play music to cover up the noise in the house while she naps :)... But she wanted it open that night and we put in a little kids songs CD and she danced and twirled and hummed the cutest little song with it. She wouldn't let us turn it off until she had fallen asleep. She is still very proud of it and wants it on!

Yay For Preschool!

Silly Smiles

Macie had to be in on the action! Every time we walk them to their school, she had to get "her" back pack on too. They are SO excited to go to school! They love their Teacher! We put Jordan in the same one with Brin this year to see if he can catch up a little better than last year. He loves it! They go to afternoon preschool and about 9:30, Jordan starts asking what time it is. Every 15 minutes from then on, we here the same questions.... "How much longer", "Is it time for school yet" .... He loves it but has a hard time playing with the other kids and not following Brin around the whole time.

Brin went to an awesome preschool last year with half of the kids in her class, so she is very comfortable here and excited to see her friends again! She has always loved going to preschool and is excited for this new one! She already loves her teacher and is having so much fun!

Gotta have a cute hair do picture from the 1st day of school....
We don't get to do cute ones all the time, so when we do, we'll document it :0)

Riding their bikes to school! So excited!

Taking their shoes off...

With their awesome Teacher after their first day!
The sun was really bright and they didn't want to open their eyes.
.... Now.... The house is REALLY quiet! Loving it!!!

Back to School

My 3 big kids headed out the door to school.

Dallas is excited cause he is now one of the oldest at the school and this is his last year in elementary. He also says he is sad though cause he has to learn a new school next year.
I can't believe he is getting so old!
Micailey is excited because she has the "Best Teacher" at the school!
Everyone raves about her teacher and so far he really is fun!

Kenzie also got a good teacher with lots of kids from our area in her class, so we are excited for her to be able to become better friends with them!

And they are off!
A little more peace and quiet around the house for me! A little more stimulation and excitement for them! Summer was fun but they started getting on each others nerves towards the end.

a few August tidbits....

30 weeks down... 10 more to go!
Rich started building us a much needed shed!
It is going to be huge when it is finished!
We stayed a night in Park City to go school shopping and a last minute get away. We had fun! The girls all had curly/bumpy hair so they put it up like mom does at night to keep it from getting tangled. They think that is so fun. We had to take a picture of all of us matching :)

All the little girls in the bed
And Cohen :)

I was originally going to make the girls wait until they were 8 to get their ears pierced but caved at 6 with Micailey, so ever since Mackenzie turned 6 we have told her that when ever she was ready she could get her ears pierced. She was scared and didn't want to have it done until now. It was a total spur of the moment thing while we were shopping in Park City. We were headed towards Claire's and I mentioned it to her and she decided to do it finally!
She was so brave the whole time! She didn't even flinch and didn't shed a tear.... until we left the store without the stuffed animal she thought she was going to get for being brave! She is my stuffed animal kid and kept telling us the whole time we waited that she wanted that for getting her ears pierced and we kept saying ..No, you get your ears pierced for your "prize"... but she still thought she was getting it. So, since she did so good, we decided for $4 we could get her the stuffed animal who is now known as Chippy :)

You can't see the earrings very good but they are little pink flowers, just like Micailey had hers pierced with. She sure looks cute in them and hasn't complained once yet about them!
