Tons of new posts!!!

When it rains it pours :)
I just added a ton of new posts in an effort to try and get caught up.
Hope you enjoy!

Our 1st camping trip of the season ;)

We've been itching to pull the trailer out and head up the canyon, but hadn't had the time for quite a while. We finally got together with Rich's Mom and Dad and his brother's family. Dallas and Micailey were even able to invite a couple friends. We had a lot of fun but it was so hot I was dying! The boys LOVED and BEGGED to build the fire!
Even when we didn't need one they were begging and wondering when they could!

Thanks for bringing UNO attack Amy! It entertained Cohen and Macie for quite a while!

Friday night, a few more friends and family came up for dinner.
We had quite the delicious dutch oven dinner complete with dutch oven desserts with ice cream! Now that is what I call camping! :) YUM!

No camping trip is complete with out the Marshmallow roasting!
Grandma had found and bought HUGE Marshmallows that the kids were begging to roast! It ended up being very messy! ... but very yummy! FYI... Those Marshmallows need 2 entire graham crackers to make a Smores! They ooze everywhere! :)

Macie enjoying her yummy camp stove pancakes
She actually ended getting sick at some point up here, with the hand, foot, and mouth virus.
It was not a fun following week or 2! She also spread it to Brinley, Jordan, and Cohen who didn't end up getting it as bad as she did, which we are COMPLETELY thankful for! The poor girl didn't hardly eat or sleep for a week and a half! Her little cousin got it too while up for dinner that night. So sad!

Dallas's cousin Oliver brought his BB Gun and all the boys and even some of the girls, had fun shooting at paper plate/ pop can targets. After this camping trip, we didn't hear the end of begging for one from Dallas and Micailey. Rich finally broke down and got them one ...against their mothers words... I hate guns! So we are now the proud owner of a BB Gun.
hip hip hurray! Not!

Grandma knew there were tons of pine cones all over the campsite and brought the supplies to make cute turkey's out of them. The kids had fun doing these and it was fun to see all the different little personalities come out in the turkeys!
Another good thought of Grandma's was for the kids to bring their scooters. They also had a blast riding their scooters around the campsite loop over and over and over. We had so much fun that we parked the trailer at Rich's parents for the week and ended going up the next weekend too. We still want to venture out on a few more camping trips before the snow flies, but we'll have to see if we can squeeze it in!

Up the Nebo Canyon

We went up the canyon to look for camping spots and snapped a few cute pic's to post.

Some of the kids with their cousin's

Dallas playing in the creek

and Jordan and Cohen looking so cute as always!!!

Fiesta Days/24th of July

Waiting for the parade to start

Cohen with some of his cousins

Dallas (getting too big in my opinion!)

I didn't end up getting any pictures of the actual parade :) Rich and I ended up sitting in the shade by his sister, and the kids stayed by Grandma and Grandpa, and Kate and Luke :) We were close and they were being good, so it all worked out - but thanks guys for playing with the kids!
Macie with her 1st sparkler! :) She wasn't even scared!

So cute! Brinley and Cohen.
Now if she would just look and smile at the camera more often!!!

Jordan and his little cousin Cooper.
They are gonna be little buddies as they get older!

Mackenzie in her cute hat!
We watched the city fireworks at Rich's sister's, who has the perfect house near the ball parks for view them! Thanks Kellie and Derek for letting everyone bomb you on the 24th every year!!! It makes it way fun!

Slip n Slide!!!

Rich's brother rented the Peteetneet hill for his wife's birthday get together and it was such a blast. I didn't even know you could do such a thing. But the school sets up this water slide for you for several hours and the kids had a blast! It is a huge hill and you get going really fast!

Here are a few pictures of the kids going down

Cohen didn't care for it much! He screamed like a baby!

It is really fun if you take the swimming rings to slide on like a sled. It makes you go even faster. And the girls all had fun making various chains while going down.

So Cute! She had just as much fun running up and down the hills and chasing Cohen :)
They are the best little buddies!

Thanks so much Bret and Aubrey for inviting us!
We had a blast and I hope Aubrey enjoyed her birthday!

Discovery Gateway

The kids have been bugging us to take them to Discovery Gateway ever since it my sister told us about it last year and we just haven't had the time. At the end of the school year, the Elementary school gave out a coupon to get 6 people in free. One of Dallas's friends gave him his because he didn't think their family would ever use it, so we were able to get the whole family in free! :) ... funny that it took 2 to get us all in :)... but we decided that this summer we would finally make time to take them. The kids loved it! We spent several hours there. They have a room for all kinds of things. The first few pictures are from the younger kids area, so Dallas and Cailey were a little bored, but had fun helping out the little kids.

Dallas in the Grocery Store making a sandwich :)
and Micailey filling up her shopping basket

Jordan had a blast! Here he is picking out his fruits and vegetables

When you are done filling your basket, you can check yourself out at a register...
That was a highlight too!

Cohen finishing up his shopping ;) He looks cute in his little grocer's apron!

.... and Jordan

Micailey trying out the climbing wall

She is my sporty one!

Howdy Pardner!

In the Farm area they have dress ups and a life size horse that you can pretend to feed hay bales too. The kids had fun trying to get on and off the horse and trying on the play clothes.

Finally the big kids got to go upstairs. There were tons of "art" type things up there. They had fun building with these "Lego" sort of things.

Everybody got in on the action!

There was also spin art, magnets, and wind tunnel that you could make paper flying objects and see who's flew the best. The had a Newsroom that you could be a newscaster and a life size helicopter outside on a landing pad to climb through.

Dallas trying to figure out where to point on the "Green Wall" to be able to give us a forecast :)
They truly had a ton of fun. We could have stayed there all day if Mom and Dad weren't so tired and we needed to get back to lay carpet in Dallas and Micailey's new bedroom's downstairs. Someday... if we ever get more coupons... :) We may have to go back!

Our 1st Rodeo ever!

Rich's mom and dad recently moved to Nephi and the kids are loving the country life!
We were invited to go to the Nephi Rodeo and the kids loved it!
Waiting for it to start

Flying in the flag

To this day, Cohen still says... "Mom, heehee (horse)" and then does a bucking action and pretends to fall down. :) He LOVED it! Macie did too, but not quite as much as Cohen.
And Jordan kept asking.... "Why don't they stay on?" ... I had to explain that they were trying to STAY ON several times... then his question turned into.... "Then why do they keep getting off"
Ahhh, the simplicity of life to a 4 year old. If it were only that easy!

This was a fun intermission. There were 2 motor cyclists that did some AMAZING stunts! Some of them took your breath away because you didn't know what they were doing and if they were going to be able to land it! Can you see him, way up in the crowd :) They were good!
