Friday, afternoon :) Celebrating 4th of July weekend

After the Balloons, we had to get back for the kids last day of swim lessons.

These are a few of the pics we took :)

Jordan figuring out the slide for the 1st time EVER! A little twisted ;)

Don't think the life jacket is doing the job right : )

Can you tell he LOVED the slide!

Still not quite right....

That's better!

Waiting in line for the diving board
Getting "dropped" off :)
Waiting on the side... so photogenic!

Brin waiting for class to start. She had a rough start in a class that was above her level, but we got her in the right one after a few days and then she liked it.

With her certificate and treat. Doesn't she look excited?

Motorboat, Motorboat, start your engine.... :)

Going down the slide with her teacher... she wouldn't do it herself yet

Kenzie waiting to "jump"

So freaking skinny :) They don't get that from their mama!

She was supposed to jump to her teacher..... or ON!!! :) What's the difference :) About drowned them both :)

After her jump ~ looking cute :)

After her slide...

Her turn waiting to jump

jumping....

Dallas's turn~ he's a little more timid

...but he did it!

and on the slide~ they all pretty much love that now

And the final ending! There certificates and treats (minus Brin who WOULD NOT get in the picture). They all did so good!

4th of July Celebrations!!!

On Friday, we started our celebration weekend by going to the Balloon Fest. It's a tradition that the kids LOVE and Rich HATES :) but he humors us any way! The kids love to see all of the balloons go up. This year there was a bad air current that made them not be able to take off that day but they still filled them and hovered around so it was still fun for the kids.

This was the biggest balloon we had ever seen! They said that it was 179 ft tall! It was 3 times the size of the others. The kids liked watching it fill up.

Our first attempt at a family picture

.... and our second attempt. Apparently the kids didn't want to look at the camera that day.
~ too early maybe?!

Fun times! :) Hope everyone had a fun 4th of July weekend!
There's more to come for our weekend.... stay tuned!

Our 1 year Sealing Anniversary

1 year ago, on June 27th, our family was sealed together forever to Jordan and Cohen. I can't believe how fast this year has gone by! They are growing and changing so fast! There is nothing that compares to seeing all of your children dressed in crisp white perfectness and knowing that they are mine for Eternity! What a special day that was, that I know I will never forget and I hope the older ones remember through out their lives and have the desire to make their own families Eternal too!

Jordan had a Birthday!!!

It is so hard for Jordan to have to wait for his birthday! He is the first in the line of nine birthdays and to him it seems like forever till it comes around again! But he finally actually had his birthday! He was so excited! We were in St George for a family baby blessing and were able to celebrate down there with Rich's family. We went to a splash pad in the morning... pics may come later of that... they were taken on my cell phone, and then we went to Pirate Island Pizza for dinner.

We got the HUGE Kraken Pizza!
Then the pirates came out and sang to him and gave him his very own ice cream! YUM!
Then Jordan and all of his cousins got to go to the arcade and play games with their coins.
Jordan insisted since Cohen's birthday in January that he was having a cars birthday too!!!
So, he finally got it!

Opening his presents! So Exciting!!!

Thanks to everyone for all the gifts and birthday wishes! He had a great day! It's hard to believe that we have had him longer than he has been alive now :) Thanks for being a part of our family Jordan! We love you!

Memorial Day

We hadn't been up to my moms site in a few years so this year we made the trip up. We had the whole weekend planned out for over a month with things to do and it decided to rain all weekend. We still had fun though! The kids love to play in Terri's Gym and we hardly see them all day :) We drove up to some camp sites where we always used to camp and reminisced about the good ole days :)
On the way home we stopped in Brigham City like always to visit a few of Richie's relatives who are there and to have a BBQ at the Grandma's houses. It was fun to see everyone again. Some of them had never met the 3 youngest kids of our family yet.
