Fiesta Days Fun!

Awe Fiesta Days! This year we had so much going on that we didn't have time to walk around the booths or anything. We did make it to the carnival with some cousins and took a few rides. They always love that! We don't ride to many because we are spoiled with Disneyland, but we did do a few :o)

Jordan Brinley and a cousin Bailey on the kiddy roller coaster

They loved it! Baileys face during the whole ride cracked me up!

Macie sucking her fingers... Don't know when she will quit!?

Gonna have to take drastic measures here pretty soon!

Well HELLO Luke! Cute pic of Micailey and her cousin Madison

... and Madison's dad Luke :o)

LOVE me some Rylan!!!

He is getting SO cute I could (and do) squeeze him!

Macie LOVES her Grampa Dell!!!

She hangs on him all the time! They are buddies!

Not a great pic of me but I love Rylan in it...

(and it's proof I exist!)

Handsome Hubby

Riding the Rockets

Cousin Cort, Macie, Cohen, and Jordan

I may be a little bias, but I think she is absolutely gorgeous!

Uncle Bret, Mackenzie, and Brinley on the Tornado

Poor Bret was the only one spinning it!

Dallas, Micailey, Bret, and Madison all tried the Zipper out

Mackenzie and Brin tried the Sizzler out. They laughed the whole time!

Thanks to all the family for playing with us! (and Bret for some extra tickets)! We had fun! Let's do it again next summer around this same time! :o)

Swimming Lessons 2011

This year we had 4 kiddos signed up for swim lessons. Dallas took private lessons to advance for scouts so we were actually minus one from last year. They had a lot of fun and loved going! We missed one day for lightning for the older girls and missed a day cor camping AND another one for being sick! ...and I still feel like we went for the whole month of July! :o) We had to be there a little after 10 and weren't done until almost noon! That makes for a long day!

Brinley and Jordan's lesson's were 1st. They were assigned the same teacher this year. I think that helped a little and made it a little more fun. Micailey ended up even getting their same teacher for her lessons.

They loved the slide! The teacher caught them the 1st time down the slide and then just let them slide. They were the only 2 in their class so she let them choose what they wanted to do. Brin did NOT want to go down the slide and Jordan did... but I guess Brinley won because they never went over there.

Such cute kids!!!

Can you tell how much Jordan loves it?! He lives life to the fullest! He is constantly energetic and bouncing! He even fell trying to run back to go up the slide! I find myself constantly saying "slow down", "calm down", "hold still", or "quit bouncing"!

Brin and Ry chillin in the stroller

Kenzie watching the little kids and waiting her turn.

He finally gave up!

Micailey and Mackenzie's turn

Micailey is the only one of mine who would jump off the diving board today- Mackenzie refused to jump off but loved the slide (once she figured out -before getting in- that she was tall enough to touch the bottom!)

And they all passed!

Micailey's paper said she completed level 2.... AGAIN!!! I swear she has completed that level like 3 times now! Next year I am going to have to make sure she gets into a higher level class- you never know until the class is over and it is too late! I guess I'll have to be a little more aggressive next year! :o(

4th of July weekend

Last year the Smith Family discovered the Peteetneet Slip n Slide!!! This year Chris got it again for the holiday. The kids love it! One of these years when I'm not pregnant (last year) or have a baby to watch (this year)... I might actually try it because it looks really fun! The kids have a blast on it, even Macie who is microscopic compared to the size of the hill.

Love Jordan's face on this one ;o)

lol... and Cohen's on this one :o)

Mackenzie helping Macie realize how fun it is! What a good big sister!

Brinley trying out a tube

Piling on the tube!

Racing...

While we were sitting there, I snapped a couple of Rylan and this one turned out really cute! I LOVE it cropped and in black & white! That might go up in my Hallway if I could ever find a single bright white mat to go in his frame... but apparently they don't exist anymore! They are no where to be found!

I was trying to snap on of Brin and Macie when they were huddled cute together and as soon as they figured that out, they were off and running and hiding from my camera! It turned in to a game but we did get a couple cute ones of them peaking out at me :o)

Balloons on the 4th!

Richie LOVES this tradition (not)! But we do it anyway! ;o)

Dallas and Cohen

The family-

Brin refused to remove the hot pink blanket even though we were all roasting!

This year it was too windy to let the balloons go up :o(

But this nice balloonist was letting people take turns pulling the "fire" handle.

The kids still wish and watch for someone who will let them go up a little ways in the balloon. One year we found a balloon in a near by park that was tethered to the ground and they were giving rides up 20 ft or so. None of them were brave enough to do it so I did it by myself and since then, they have all wished they would have. But we have yet to find one again :o(

They had a new Star Wars Darth Vader Balloon this year. They had some of the characters around the base of it and the kids wanted to see them... You would have thought they were going to take Jordan into space by his screaming fit just to stand next to them for a picture!

We did a few other things that I don't have pic's of this year. On Saturday night, The Smith's had a BBQ and made their infamous fire work show. On Monday night we went to our neighbor's Cove of Chaos/Fire... I'm not sure what they are naming it. Both activities were really fun, loud, and a lot of money went up in smoke! :o)

I hope every one had a fun 4th of July!!!

Rylan got his 1st trim :o)

Oh Buddy! Look at that hair! What natural volume you have :o) Dallas had it too, but only on the crown. Ry has it all over! We call him Halo :o) We walked out on the porch late at night with the light behind us to get the kids from playing night games and one of the neighbor girls said... "Hey, you can see his hair from here! It GLOWS!" :o) But... It's getting too long! It won't stay down no matter how much gel we use any more and spikey is turning too punkish. So, we took our chances and got out the clippers! I was just nervous that it would still stick up and we would have to wait till it grew out even more to get enough wait to make it lay down.

LOVE THIS PICTURE!

For the most part, he thought it was funny. Towards the end after we went over and over and over it... he was deciding he wanted to be done ;o) But it is so fine that it just moves for the razor so we were having a hard time getting it all cut even.

It totally turned him in to a little man :o)

... starting to be "done"
I think this pic is cute too!

The rest of the pic's are with his new hair cut ~

you can't tell much unless you saw how much came off :o)

I didn't get a good "after" shot, he was being to wiggly and wanted to crawl all over instead!

This is his new trick he has been trying to perfect.

He can stand there for a few minutes till he thinks about it and gets excited and falls down.

He also LOVES being outside!

He doesn't even really mind the grass like most babies do.

Love this little face!

He thinks he is SOOO funny!

He goes straight for the bark and throws it out as fast as he can!

We love out little Buddy! He's getting so big so fast!

Getting Festive...

Sporting the Red, White, and Blue!

.... It only lasted on their nails for a few hours and they had it smudged, chipped, or picked off :o) oh well, it was the thought that counts right! This was a week or so before the 4th, so they ended up repainting on the afternoon of the 4th so they still ended up looking festive!
