Ohh... Reminiscing

So the other day I was trying to load some of our old photo cd's that we had on our old computer, and some aren't working, but one did and I just wanted to post some of the cute pic's off of it since I didn't have the blog when we took them. You always hear it- but wow time flies by!

Do you think we have a Smith mold that they all fit into yet?

Brinley on Valentines Day

This is Brinley too. I thought Macie kind of had her own look but the other day Macie wore this same outfit and this is basically "exactly" what she looked like. I didn't think I would need to label my pictures because "I would always be able to tell which child it was" - It's actually harder than I thought.

More to come....
ps. thanks to Kim for taking all but 4 of these pictures :) I think you all can tell which ones SHE took.

Yeah! we just got some old family pic's!

My sister Kim took these fun family pictures a little over 2 years ago and then something happened and she couldn't get them off of her computer. So she just surprised me today with them! Yeah! I can't believe how little the kids look! It's so fun to see them! Ahh the good old days :) Thanks Kim!

Happy Birthday Micailey! #8

I was so excited to find out that I was expecting a girl & I knew the second I saw the name Micailey that it was for you! From day one, it seemed like everyone we passed would comment on how beautiful you were! You have grown up to be such a beautiful young girl now and we are so proud of you! You are so smart and talented and we love you very much!

Micailey at 4 months
Micailey at 1 year
These 2 pictures are some of my most favorite pictures of you! I couldn't decide between the 2 so I put them both on. Every picture we took that day turned out so cute!
You had the cutest curly hair and I loved to do it all fancy!
You have always loved to play out side no matter if it is hot or cold! I don't know where you get the liking for cold from because both of your parents wished they lived in California!
You follow after your dad and love to play sports!
A sleep over with your 2 cousins

You are constantly on your head or jumping in some way. When you taught yourself how to do headstands we decided that maybe you needed to be in gymnastics! You're very good at it and love it still!

Music- another talent of your dads!

And last but not least - you are a dare devil! The faster, the higher, the more loops- bring it on!!!

We're so excited that you are choosing to be baptized! We are so excited for you and proud of you! We love you!

Cohen turned 1!

Wow how time flies! Six months ago at the orphanage, I thought it would be forever until Cohen

turned 1. Now it has been here and passed! He has changed so much! When we first got Cohen, he couldn't hardly hold his head up, and now he is almost walking! He grows and changes every day! I look at the orphanage picture and compare it to the birthday pictures and he looks like a little man now. We're excited that he is now a part of our family and can't wait to see what kind of person he'll become!

The day we decided to adopt Cohen

Sledding Fun!!!

The kids have been begging to go sledding ever since the first hint of snow, so they finally talked Richie into taking them. There is a huge hill right by our house and they love to go there. They came home happy and ready for some yummy hot chocolate!
