Wow! It's been a while~

I apologize!!! We got a new computer and started using it instead of the old one where all of my pictures and familiar programs were and rarely even turn the old one on any more~ I barely had Rich show me how to upload pic's on the new computer but I still need the old computer programs to crop and do pictures so I have totally fallen off the deep end in the blogging department!!!

But... today..... it's turned ON!!! ;o) So I'll take a brief minute to check in.
In May, Micailey had her Hershey Track meet. She loves to run and "trained" for it for several weeks before. The day of the meet was SOOO cold! She did really good though! She ran the 200 and the 400 and placed 2nd in the 400 in her race.

Running the 200

During the 400, she ran with her hand in her sweat shirt pocket the WHOLE way! She's looking at me because I yelled to get her hand out of her pocket and RUN!!! She said she did it cause she was cold ;o)... well guess what~ you'll warm up when you run :o)

Saying her part....
"We've loved going on field trips. They are so much fun!
Let me tell you about some we have done."

Getting her diploma from Mrs. Tiffany
Looking at her book the rest of the time... I would have tried telling her not to, but every kid in the class was doing the exact same thing :o)

Brin is famous for looking away from the camera just as you snap the picture!

Easter Morning!

One pic is all you get :) The rest have their eyes half closed and their cheeks bulging with chocolate! They were all excited and on a sugar high for the rest of the day! I hope everyone had a great Easter!

Easter Festivities

There was a Rice Krispy commercial during Easter where they made egg shaped R.K. Treats and dipped them in chocolate. It always looked so good! So we tried it. We didn't do it like them, we kind of had fun making up our own designs and the kids had a blast!

The finished treats

Below are the pics of the Easter egg hunt that Dallas coordinated. He did a good job!

Dallas the Photographer!

The Saturday before Easter, Dallas quietly got all of the kids dressed in coordinating outfits of Greens and Oranges and one by one, took their pictures :) ...(except Brin, she didn't want her pic taken) He is such a big helper! He did really good! After they had all been photographed, he had hidden eggs outside in the yard and took them all out for an Easter egg hunt and took pictures of that too! Thanks Pal! You are awesome!

I can't believe how big they are all getting!

Family Night before Easter

The kids beg to have BBQ's outside, so for family night it was good weather so we agreed :) I love having good weather! I love all of the fresh fruit and veggies that come into season! YUM!

Towards the end of our BBQ, the wind started to pick up so we decided to decorate the eggs inside. The kids were sad, they were excited to do it outside this year. I have to apologize for my camera for the rest of the pictures! If you take pics inside, they always turn out grainy :( It has ruined many holiday photos! Some day I will actually get an awesome camera~

Very concentrated! ;)

CHEESE!

The finished products!
Everyone got to showcase their favorite egg!

Dallas was so proud of this one :)

Miss Smiley!
We had so much fun! You never know when you start out on an adventure like this how it will turn out! Will it end with every one happy or mad, clean or a messy disaster.... But it was a success! They all colored their eggs and did a great job! Now... what do you do with 6 dozen eggs when only 3 of you eat deviled eggs or potato salad? hmmm....
