Teacher Appreciation Gifts & Preschool Graduation x's 2

With 5 kid's in school our end of the year gifts aren't too HUGE, we usually keep them pretty simple and reasonable. I came across these ideas on craft blogs that I read.

You are o"fish"ally the most "AW"some teacher ever!

Teacher's plant the seeds of knowledge that will grow forever!

Brinley and Jordan with Mrs Kasa!

What a GREAT teacher!

We have such good preschool teachers in our neighborhood to choose from!

They ACTUALLY sang the songs AND did the actions!

I was so impressed! My other kids would just stand there for the most part :o)

"See you later! Bye Girls!"

Brinley getting her diploma

Jordan so excited to get his diploma!

They did it!

Brin and the girls

Jordan and his buddy that lives down the street.

The other little boy didn't want a picture at the time :o)

Sitting on the porch after the Preschool Carnival enjoying all the treats

Just a cute one of Macie :o)

Good Job Brinley and Jordan! We're on to Kindergarten! :o) Yay!

They are so excited! (and mom's a little excited too!)

I'm way behind again :o) Dallas's Track Meet

We didn't get as many pic's of Dallas's Track Meet because it was so cold and sprinkling. I also had the 3 little kiddo's all by my self so it made it a little harder to run to the start line and take a pic and get back to take a pic at the finish line too :o) But he did great too! He ran in the 100 and placed 3rd in his heat and then the 200 and also got 3rd in that heat. He chose to stay with his class instead of coming home for an early out day~ But he did so good! We're so proud of you!

Freezing before the 100

3rd place :o)

End of the year Carnival

Cosmo!

Dallas's class was asked to each help with a half hour shift of face painting during the carnival. If any of you know Dallas very well~ he LOVES to draw! He not only sat there for his half hour, but then still sat there for probably an hour more ;o). He even made some tips from a few moms! That made his day! Good job bud!
(He liked it so much that the next morning, Saturday, they set up a carnival on our front yard with our bouncy house, tunnels, and ... more face painting! And he did such a good job that we enlisted his help the following Tuesday, along with a friend Dane, to face paint all the little girls faces at our Mother Daughter Diva Derby Carnival! I'm pretty sure he can go "pro" in face painting now!)

He got lots of practice painting all of his siblings faces :o)

Jordan

Cohen

Brin

Mackenzie

And the gang all together

Just hangin' while we're face painting... the were such good sports!

Macie got a cute little flower ... from mom :o)

Micailey got hers done a little later :o) Can you tell what color we "bleed" at our house?

Awe! You can't have fun with out Silly String!

She thinks she is pretty funny trying to spray mom!

Mackenzie HAD to do the rock wall!!! She was in line FOREVER!! Honestly I think more kids got in line in front of her than behind her!

But she finally got her turn!

Notice everyone else on the wall gave up :o)

She did awesome! Micailey had been boasting that she did the rock wall and rang the bell, so Mackenzie had to prove she could do it too!

GOOD JOB MACKENZIE!!!

Coming back down

Activities like this are always full of mixed emotions :o) The begging for a wrist band, candy, drinks.... That's one down fall of being from a big family :o) We're not going to spend $80 for everyone to have a wrist band... no matter how much pep talk before hand of "There will be NO begging! You can't do everything there! We'll have to come home if there is any crying!" That is all thrown out the window with the opening of the door at the school :o( For the most part they all did pretty good, but it's always an adventure!

Micailey's Track Meet

Micailey had her Hershey's Track Meet on Thursday, May 5th. She did AWESOME! She was so excited that our friend Amina was going to be here visiting that I guess it gave her the extra "oomph" to run like no other :o) She placed 1st in the 100 & 1st in the 200!!! She got called back to run in the semi-finals for the 100 and placed either 3rd or 4th. She also was selected as on of the 8 fastest girls in her grade at her school to run the relay race. Their team took 1st place over all the girls relay teams! They were way ahead & "smoked" all the other teams! I also have to give a shout out to all of our friends at Canyon Elementary :o) They came in 2nd! ( I think) Good job to all of you girlies! :o)

Micailey with our friend Amina, who is visiting from Morocco

Our little cheering section :o)

It was good luck to take a picture the 1st time so we had to try it again!

... and our good luck paid off again! She is in the lead! Whoot! Whoot!

Look at those long strides! :o)

Snack break :o) Time to be silly!

Getting ready for her stretch of the relay
