This is Brinley right after we got home from the Dr. She had a buckle fracture in her right arm, right by her wrist. She fell off the barstool in the kitchen while she was eating lunch.We knew something was wrong right away because she kept holding her wrist and crying.
We hurried and called a neighbor to babysit and took her to the after hours clinic hopeing that it was just sprained, but we weren't so lucky!
She had to wear this cast from her shoulder to her fingers for a week and then we had to get the other one on. What a pain in the butt!
This is her new "gink (pink) cast"! She is so proud of it. Her favorite color is pink and she was certain that it had to be pink. This one only goes up to her elbow which is nice but it is very hard and snags and scratches stuff. We tried telling her for a few days before it came off that -"yeh! they were going to take it off" and about how they were going to "buzz" it off -to get her ready for the noise- and she would almost cry because she didn't want her "gink cast" off! But Mommy does and couldn't wait!!! February 2nd, 08 - February 27th, 08

Awe poor thing. I hope she is doing better! Jack has had 3 broken arms. :( He enjoyed looking at the pictures of her pink cast :)
